Noonamah Horse and Pony ClubMeets:  Rally days Sunday morning from January to April. A Gymkhana is normally held in April and August each year. Annual camp runs for four days during the first week of mid year holidays.

General Information: Noonamah Horse and Pony Club is a youth equestrian group ranging from experienced riders to individuals looking to get into an equestrian life style; and with the grading of classes, it ensures no rider is out of their depth.

On 25 October 1974 a public meeting was held and a Steering Committee was elected. Rural residents were very keen to get things moving, and generously offered use of land, barrels for events and offers to make bending poles, lectures for Pony Clubbers on the care of horse’s teeth and hooves and offers of instructors. By the end of the year the Club had 92 financial members and had adopted its constitution.

In 1976 land was set aside for equestrian use at Freds Pass Reserve, in 1977 NHPC started to use the land for rally days and 1978 saw the area sown with grass.

The Noonamah Horse and Pony Club have since grown from strength to strength and are now one of the largest pony clubs in the Northern Territory.
